The only thing I don't like is that the way the fabric lines up, well... The two green flowers there? Yeah, those ones. They just... highlight.... my boobs. Yup. They're just a little bit under where my boobs are, but still, it's a little *too* coincidental. It makes me wonder if someone did it intentionally! It doesn't make me love this dress any less, though, I'll put up with two giant neon green flowers over my ta-tas if it means I can wear an adorably bright vintage dress :)I was editing the first batch of photos and I got so frustrated with how they turned out! I know I over-edited them but my camera is just getting more and more annoying... I actually went out on the deck and took some more of myself, Myspace-style! They turned out a little better. I've decided that unless the camera is within three feet of me the pictures are gonna be poop. Oh well! It'll be quite some time before I can afford a new DSLR, but believe me, I'm saving my pennies and hopefully I can have a new Nikon to ring in 2012!
In other news, I'm *thisclose* to reopening my Etsy shop and listing new headbands for the fall! I'm seriously so excited, I have a whole array of colors available and a new style that I think is just ADORABLE! So pumped. Also, there may or may not be a jewelry line in the works!!! I want to get my headbands up in time for winter, and then the jewelry will follow soon after. Guys, I'm so excited! I can't wait to share it all with you, I really hope you like it as much as I do.
That is seriously the best dress ever!!
ReplyDeleteha! i never would have noticed the flower/boob thing if you hadnt pointed it out! so cute :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress is super adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that dress, the colours are amazing! I wouldn't have noticed the flowers over your boobs either though.. Haha :)

You know, I didn't notice the ta-ta flowers either! But hey, its a statement dress, right? :P
ReplyDeleteThe dress is so cute very 70's. My camera does the same thing but it's more the internet than the camera. I'll take good photos and they load up great then I put them on the internet and they just don't hold the quality like when they're on my desktop. Good luck with saving!!

Gorgeous dress!
ReplyDeleteThe first couple pictures you look like a younger Priscilla Presley.
That dress IS gorgeous, and I didn't even notice the boob flowers until you said something. =] Looking forward to what's new in your shop! When I very first found your blog, you had these gorgeous gorgeous pillows that were 9 connected granny squares on each side and i LOVED them. Will you be making any more?
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA now that you mention it, total boob highliters.
ReplyDelete@Jamie: I won't have any more pillows in my shop, but we can definitely talk about a custom order! :)

ReplyDeleteI was going to say that your dress is soooo pretty. The colors, style everything is perfect! The flower boobs did make me take a double take, but that isn't a bad thing, haha.
I didn't even notice the green flowers lining up like that until you said something!!!
