![Lace and Fabric Coaster DIY](http://i973.photobucket.com/albums/ae218/susannahbean/laceandfabriccoasterheader.jpg)
![Supplies](http://i973.photobucket.com/albums/ae218/susannahbean/supplies-2.jpg)
Cork coasters, lace, Mod Podge, fabric (I used a vintage bedsheet), paintbrush, scissors
![Steps 1-4](http://i973.photobucket.com/albums/ae218/susannahbean/steps1through4.jpg)
[1.] Cut a piece of fabric slightly larger than your coaster. [2.] Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge. [3.] Smooth out any bubbles. Let it dry for a few minutes. [4.] Carefully trim the excess fabric.
![Steps 5-8](http://i973.photobucket.com/albums/ae218/susannahbean/steps5through8.jpg)
[5.] Cut a piece of lace slightly larger than your coaster. [6.] Apply a thicker layer of Mod Podge. Let it dry for a bit, then apply another coat. [7.] You can do some of your coasters with just fabric, or just lace. I used two layers of lace for these ones. Make sure your Mod Podge seeps through all the little holes in the lace. [8.] Apply some Mod Podge to the edge of your coasters, then set them on something plastic to dry.
