While Kaelah and Mike were here we took a little trip to the thrift stores. It was kinda spur of the moment and I wasn't really into it, we were pretty hungry and I didn't want to bore them. We went to the Goodwill first, and we all found some good stuff. We went to the Salvation Army next, but I came really close to skipping it. It's a good thing I didn't, because I found this amazing hutch at the back, and I've never been happier with a thrift store find in my entire life!
It's seriously beautiful. I spent $25 on it (getting it home was a little bit pricey, and I drove a pickup truck for the first time ever... ha!). I'm totally in love.
I'm officially on the hunt for the perfect stuff to keep in it, right now there's an odd little assortment of things.
Pretty hutch! I like your attire :)

ReplyDeleteSigh, I would kill someone for a hutch! I love hutches. This one is to die for. So many death metaphors in this comment, I'm going to go ahead and stop now.

Great find! It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is an unbelievable find for that price.
ReplyDeleteIs it a vintage Broyhill piece? I found our sideboard on Craigslist for $75 and did some research after seeing the arch pattern on Apartment Therapy and the Brasilia Broyhill pieces are usually pretty desirable and get sold (from dealers) for LOTS! Either way, it's gorgeous. GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteholy crap! that is amazing! what a find for $25 - i love it! you look adorable as usual :)
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I love the details. I'm looking for a hutch for my new place and I'm envious at such a find.
ReplyDeletewhat a find, holy moly! if you're looking for some interesting things, i recommend Wooly Mammoth. They're this crazy little vintage/antique/odd finds store that has the most unique things you can ever think of in there.
