What I wore.

It's not feeling very fall here. We had a couple weeks where the temperature was in the 60s, it was perfect jacket weather and just felt like fall. But now it's back up in the high 70s and low 80s, and it's hard to comprehend the summery weather when the leaves on the trees have all changed color. I've been trying to make it feel a little more like fall with the colors I've been wearing, and this one really worked for me. I got the dress from Modcloth's Last Hurrah sale, along with a couple others. I've been wearing so much vintage stuff lately that when I go back to new dresses like this one, I get really self conscious about how short they are! I wear shorts under everything anyway, but it's especially helpful with outfits like this so I don't flash my booty all over town. 

Yesterday Chris and I went grocery shopping, and of course bought way more than we planned. We snagged some wine from Trader Joe's and planned a movie night at home. We've been having more and more nights in like that, and I really love it. It's nice to cuddle on the couch and hang out, but it's different than our normal hanging out... I guess the wine makes it more special?? Who knows, all I know is I had a blast, and it was nice to relax and just be.

What's your favorite way to unwind? And don't say bubble bath, because that's my all time favorite and I don't have a bath here, and I'm still upset about it a year and a half later! :)

    I love this combo of colors, totally unexpected and fantastically fall. I'm experiencing a bunch of the same feelings-80's and bare trees is an awkward combo! I wish I'd had the time to peruse the MC last hurrah sale-looks like you found a winner on there!

    Gorgeous outfit. I love it! Snuggling up on the couch watching movies with my guy is my favorite too. A bottle of wine is always a nice addition! ;)

    Great outfit!! Pretty colours :) the weather is weird here too, spring is trying hard - sometimes we'll get warm temperatures and the next day they'll be predicting snow...I just hope we get a summer this year!!

    It's cold and rainy out here already. I miss the summer that we didn't have this year!

    My favourite way to unwind is to watch some tv with my boyfriend with a glass of wine and some little snacks. Even better when there's a cat on my lap, nice and warm.

    I wanted to buy SO many dresses during ModCloth's Last Hurrah sale, urgh! (The urgh is because the sale was RIGHT before I got paid, hah!)

    My favorite ways to unwind are:

    Playing a video game
    Reading a magazine either on or off the computer
    Reading a fanfiction
    Finding a new web comic and diving right in
    Playing around with blog design

    And my all time favorite: Lying in bed with my wife and our kitties and just talking and laughing.

    When my husband isn't home, I like to pop in my pj's, eat something he doesn't like (usually a Totino's party pizza, he hates those), and watch something he wouldn't watch with me (like a chick flick) and take over the whole couch!
