We all know that I love a good deal. When I was at Target the other day I was checking the clearance racks in the men's section for stuff for Chris, and I saw this Budweiser tee. It's too small for him, but for $2.50 I had to get it for myself. I don't even drink beer, but I kinda love this shirt. As in, I've worn it for like three straight days...!
I really love pencil skirts, too, even though they're pretty unflattering on me :) The pleating in the front kinda gives me more of a gut than I have, but I don't really mind. It's classier than wearing jeans all the time and some days I just wanna bum around, so this is my solution. I thrifted this sweater the other day and it's my new favorite, so so cute! I think this brings my collection of mustard yellow sweaters up to four, haha.
Chris and I went out to our favorite diner for lunch, and then stopped at Target (again, we have a problem). I got some new Christmas ornaments for our tree, which I put up last Friday! I'm pretty pumped about decorating this year, I've been scouring the thrift stores for cute stuff but haven't found much. I've also been making some new decorations that I'll hopefully share with you later this week! I felt weird about starting to decorate for Christmas already (especially since we took down a forgotten Halloween decoration last night, oops!), but I couldn't wait any longer. We're totally the type of people who leave the tree up way too long, so why not start too early too??Have you started decorating for the holidays yet? I'd love to see what you do! Leave me a link in the comments if you have one :)
Love the color of your cardigan! Its the perfect cardi for pencil skirts - you look fantastic :)

This outfit is perfect. I miss wearing t-shirts but I hate wearing pants, so this is great. Oh, and my boyfriend and I have a Target problem too. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty much a perfect outfit...I have been dabbling in the t shirt skirt combo and just not looking right...this sooo makes me want to keep trying!!!! Xoxo Lori
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this outfit. And your hair is so gorgeous. Do you have natural curls? I do and I always attempt to grow it out before thinking it too unruly, but you've inspired me to give it another try.

Aww you look great in the pencil skirt, not unflattering at all. I like the way you paired the cardigan and the t-shirt. I don't drink beer either but this is a cute tee. The entire outfit is cute, love the jacket too.
ReplyDeleteI love Target, my fiance and I spend so much time in Target, its a bit nuts. We don't decorate for the holidays at our current place, when we have our own place I definitely plan to.

Really like this outfit! I kind of stole my boyfriends "ancient geek" shirt I got him when it shrank.
ReplyDeleteI always decorate for Fall very early but Christmas it has always been tradition that my family would together on the Friday after Thanksgiving an eat left overs while we put up the Christmas decorations and tree up.
This year I've been trying to think of some new ideas for decorations. Our first Christmas at the apartment I just bought a set from Walmart just to have one thing complete since we were still getting stuff for the apartment but now I want something different.

You are absolutely adorable. I just stumbled across your blog from My Girl Thursday's, and I'm feeling some major hair envy. You are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask if you could post pictures of your Christmas tree up but then I looked at the post below and saw you put a tiny picture up. I was wondering if you could post more because you have a white tree and I've never really seen a white tree. Everyone in my family, friends and houses I've visited always had the classic green tree. :)
I totally shop in the men's sale section too! They have some good stuff and normally the sizes work out in my favor.
ReplyDeletelove the thsirt and skirt combination!! and I want your boots, haha. brown is my favorite color and these look great!
ReplyDeleteCould you possibly be any cuter?
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog and I adore it! The way you dress is so fun and cute. :)
