Dress: Vintage (eBay!)
Shoes: Sangos c/o Blowfish
Apparently all I've got for you guys are outfit posts... At least it's something? To be honest, getting to dress up is kind of a big deal to me. I work full time (more often than not I work overtime), and I wear a really awful uniform at work, so getting to wear something other than black pants and a baggy blue shirt is extra special :)
I wore this dress on Easter Sunday. We went to brunch with Chris's mom's side of the family at a little restaurant called Windhill Pancake Parlor (seriously, check out that website... and if you're lucky a train brings you food!). Then it was off to my Grandma's house for a late lunch with my dad, stepmom, and little siblings. Then we came home, napped/food coma-d on the couch for a while, and headed down to Chris's dad's house. Thankfully he lives just a few houses down the street (not for much longer, but more on that later!). Chris's stepmom's dad is currently staying at their house, and his dog Beauty came along with him. Now, I'd never met Beauty before, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna steal her, she's the most awesome dog ever! I'll try to snap some pics soon, it'll give me an excuse to spend some time with her :)
We came home with baskets full of candy and goofy little toys (like straw glasses, a plastic tube in the shape of glasses that you use to drink something... ha!). We've been pigging out on candy for the last few days, and thank goodness I didn't buy any of our own because we're stocked to the brim!
I'm going to pick a winner for the Adventurer Vintage giveaway tonight, so make sure you get your entries in!
