Cameras.

I thought it might be fun to share some of the cameras I've collected over the last few years. I don't have many, and I don't think they work, but I like how they look.

The Canon AE-1 is what I used when I took a photography class in high school, but I had an awful teacher who offered to "fix up" my camera and it hasn't worked since. I plan on taking it to a professional photography supply store and seeing if I can't get it back in working order.
Do you have vintage cameras? Do you use them or are they just for display like mine?

  1. Aww I'm sorry to hear about your Canon. I don't have any old cameras. Just my little point and shoot sadly! :(

  3. I have a couple old polaroid cameras, and actually, i have that exact Canon AE-1; it was my dad's primary camera way back in the day (digging through closets is my form of thrifting- ha!). Its been so long since I've used a film camera, I'm pretty hesitant with it, but I love playing around with it.

  7. I collect both vintage and toy cameras. i'm so sad to hear about your broken slr -- film cameras (even SLRs) can usually take a LOT of damage and still work. What a lame teacher!
