WIWT: Continuing my Obsession

I'm so glad you guys love my favorite color just as much as I do! I'm still so inspired by the pretty pictures I gathered for my last post that I had to carry that color over into my outfit today! I've been trying hard to get out of bed early(ish) on my days off and actually get dressed, even if I have nothing to do. If I had it my way I would just stay in pj's on the couch, with my TV on Investigation Discovery all day long, knitting and drinking coffee. BUT! That's no way to occupy my time, and getting dressed is the best motivator for me to go out and do things. Anyway, on to today's outfit!

Dress/Cardigan/Boots/Knee Highs: Target
Tights: DSW
Belt: Little Gray Suitcase

I bought this dress on sale a few weeks ago, and I've been trying to make it work but it just hasn't come together for me. I think today I got the best I'm gonna get out of it. It's got kind of a weird cut at the top, and it makes it look more like négligée than a dress. But it's a nice way to showcase my pretty aqua belt I snagged from Little Gray Suitcase!


We got quite a few inches of snow a few days ago, and our backyard is full of little bunny and squirrel prints in the snow! That's one of my favorite things about winter, seeing the little traces of animal life in fresh snow.

I've been thinking about getting a tripod and remote setup going, because no matter how close and comfortable I am with Chris, it's still really awkward to have him take a bunch of pictures of me. I'm actually really camera-shy, I hate hate hate having my picture taken, but my blog has been sort of an experiment in breaking that habit... It's seen about a 70% success rate!

    Eee, I bought that same dress at Target on sale a couple of weeks ago! It's so cute! :)

    And yes, I'm VERY camera shy. That's why I don't have too many photos of me on my blog. I always feels so awkward posing in front of the camera.

    I cannot let Neil take pics of me, it's so awkward! I think it's cus he hates taking pics of people and I know it's not going to look like I want it to, haha. My clicker makes me feel comfortable, hehe :)

    I love your entire outfit! The pops of blue really stand out.

    I always feel so awkward having my picture taken too. It just makes me feel really arrogant or something. Haha. You look so cute though!

    yes... i feel very shy having my husband take a gazillion pics of me! I have a tripod and am hoping I get a remote for my birhtday!!!

    I'm in love with this styling! I love the darker teal tights with the lighter teal belt :) You look great!

    I don't think I'm camera shy, I just feel silly taking pictures of myself. I'm hoping to spend time getting over that :)

    I like everything!!

    I am also camera shy and will have to get a tripod setup. My roommate, Kimala, currently takes my pictures and I always feel so uptight and awkward - even though we're completely comfortable with each other! The last time she suggested I might be more at ease if we put on music and I was surprised at how much it helped! I think I would still rather do it solo, though.
